Thank you for anyone who may be able to help or point me in the right direction.It can be coupled with Outline for iPad and Microsoft OneNote, which makes notes multi-platform. much as I can but I'm just being faced with empty notebooks all the time. Now it is my hope that someone here would have an idea how I can recover that data in limbo, as those are really important work notes. I'm under the impression that literally everything was stored locally, and in signing out trying to fix the sync issue, it actually fully broke it and it started syncing from OneDrive (which again has nothing) or something and just ignored or threw what I assume was locally stored data. I tried checking the Recent Notebooks section and opened all of them (even ones I don't actually own) and none of them contain my notes. Tons of Sections and handwritten notes for the last two years, just gone. The official OneNote documentation told me to sign out of my accounts, restart OneNote, then sign in again, which should force the sync.Įxcept when I did exactly that, literally everything is gone. I then look for guides on how to force sync from iOS. I just got a new MacBook Air and I'm trying to move everything over from an old Windows Machine, so I decided today how OneNote would be like, and still, when I sign in to my work account, none of the two years worth of notes show up. It seems that they never sync to my account. Now, whenever I sign in to OneNote on any other device (Windows Desktop, iPhone) with my work account, none of my tons of notes actually show up. It's signed in to two accounts, work and personal, but the active one is always the work account - the personal account was never the active one except when I signed in to it, and all notes were always done with the work account logged in. I just lost a lot of notes and I have no idea where they went. I would really appreciate it if anyone here can help.
